Brigham Kerr's resume and history.
History:
Brigham Kerr recently graduated from ASU (Arizona State Univ., spring of '05) with a BFA in drawing. He now joins the ranks of starving artists worldwide. (Though he is still considering becoming a nurse and joining the peace corps some day.)
Brigham is and has been in several art shows in Arizona. He is currently in Borders bookstore in Tempe with several pieces of art for sale. Past shows include: Sky Harbor airport (Terminal 3), Studio 100 on the ASU campus, twice in the "art cafe" at Einstein's bagels in the Memorial Union and several shows in or near the Herberger school of art at ASU.
Currently Brigham works for Young Champions of America, an organization that runs after-school youth sport programs. He is the photo manager (using greenscreen technology to do on-site photo prints with custom-made backgrounds.) He also runs the graphic design dept. creating t-shirts, patches fliers, etc. In adition, he also creates DVDs shooting, editing, and authoring video for production.
On weekends Brigham is the Phoenix Zoo caricature artist (and during zoolights). He also is working on several art projects with various local companies and organizations.
While at ASU Brigham was a political cartoonist for 3 semesters with the State Press . (See some of those political cartoons on this site.) He also wrote and drew a daily comic strip called Snaggletooth for one semester.
Arizona Humane Society ... where Brigham used to work and volunteer from 99-01.
U.S. Army, where he was enlisted from 90-94. Starting at Ft. Sill Ok. then Pinder Barracks Germany with the 2/1st FA (with whom he served in Desert Storm). Fort Campbell, Ky with the 3/320th FA, and one year with the 101st band.
LDS church (The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) with whom he served a mission in Bahia Brazil from 94-96.
He recieved an associates degree in graphic design from Provo College (Provo Utah) in 98.
He took several classes from the Art Institute of Phoenix while majoring in computer animation and later game art and design.
He lived 4 years in Warren Pa. and graduated from Warren area High in 1990.
Experience:
-I have several years experience as a graphic designer/ graphic artist. I have created t-shirt design designs, patches, fliers certificates, and other graphics in many mediums. I am familiar with PCs and Macs.
-Chromakey (greenscreen) photography with Photoshop and Express Digital. I have experience with portrait photography (against a greenscreen) with children including lighting and printing photos.
-I have several years experience as a caricature artist and over a year as a political cartoonist/ daily strip artist.
-I have been doing portraits, murals, and prints of people, animals, landscapes etc. for over 5 years.

-Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Encore (DVD authoring).

Education:
-BFA in drawing from Arizona State.
