The 2004 election will go down as one of the most memorable in at least 4 years. For anyone who may not have heard,
ASU had their own little piece of the action with debate #3 (or 4 counting the "VeePees"). Just weeks after the elections, some were
already missing the media and lack of parking spaces. Me, I miss having such a wealth of material for political cartoons... here are a few.

Here is the first political cartoon I had published in the State Press. (Tues. Sept 21st, 2004)
The text reads: In a final effort to win swing voters, the debators agree
on professional wrestling.
You would think I had learned a thing or two since then... i.e. I should use spell check before publishing anything,
and to make cartoons wider than taller. (John Edwards was cut off in the published version).

This cartoon ran on Fri., Oct 8th, 2004. It appeared with another cartoon about coach Koetter.

Here is the cartoon that was printed the day after the debate. (Thurs, Oct 14th, 2004) I didn't
mind so much that I was getting cartoons printed, but the State Press
had fallen in the habit of not putting my name anywhere on or near my art.
Ironically, that same day Alexander Karlsson, (of Ship of Fools comic fame)
had a comic printed directly across from mine - with his name! (I wasn't
doing cartoons for the money, and apparently not the publicity either...)
After writing lots of angry letters to several people in the State Press
and the Law School (free legal services!), they made the decision to run
no ones name for political cartoons.
