We were invited to do caricatures at Castles N Coasters with a new event agency: Music and Mischief. It seemed like it went pretty well. They had the Cardinal cheerleaders, DJs, face painters, it was a pretty good crowd – and a wide range of ages.

Commissioned work for a 1 year anniversary. She is a teacher, he is a DJ.
This was a tricky caricature since they took the “kitchen sink” approach. Here is an excerpt from the email:
“The way I see it in my head is the mountain as the back drop and the st.louis arch going across the paper like a rainbow. We are both jumping in to a car with are swimsuits on and I have the headphones around my neck and you can have her kind of tossing the book aside. Make it look like we are driving to a camping site, And the car could have stickers on the cars with all the places we went to on our honeymoon and St.louis and Chicago and a Thanksgiving Vegas.”
Then they added a tidal wave, Dr Seus, etc. etc.
All in all, I think it turned out ok!
